I came across this picture the other day and as I sat here in my pjs, with a cup of caramel apple cider in my hand, I began to reflect on the events of this last year. A healthy pregnancy, an amazing delivery, a perfect baby. I cant believe that my little Bennett was in that belly. The blessings seem to overflow and I am overwhelmed by God's beautiful faithfulness. If I hadn't birthed this precious child myself I would be hesistant to believe that God actually knit him together in my womb! It was such a surreal experience. Now, I sit here two months later examining every tiny part of this little man and I am completely shocked that my body created him. His tiny feet (the softest thing ever!), his dark eyes, his poofy hair (very unruly=)), his precious hands (dimples have just showed up above his fingers), and those lips...by far my favorite part of him because they are just like Jon's. I love him more than words and I realize that I am beyond blessed. Nothing like a baby to change your life.
