The other side....

Maybe there are a lot of people out there that are still grieving the life they once had, before their kids took over. I remember when I was pregnant people would say things like, "Get your sleep now! You will never sleep again!" or if their baby was crying they would look at me and say, "Here's what you have to look forward to." Dont get me wrong, there are many a Saturday mornings when I wake up and think, "Oh what I would give to sleep in past 6:30!", but I never anticipated the other side of parenthood. The love, the joy, the laughter. The smiles, open-mouthed kisses, and snuggles (although these are few and far between these days :)) The way it feels to know that you have been entrusted with raising another little person. God help us. But no seriously, I could especially use a few tips on what to do with my spunky, passionate, tad bit dramatic adorably handsome little fella! (He actually put his head into his hands and cried the other day when I took away his grilled cheese...whos to say that boys are easier?!)
